DESCRIPTION

The first periodical devoted to the topic of leather history, Leather Times publishes nonfiction, mainly in the form of historical articles and of news about the Leather Archives & Museum. The newsletter is illustrated with historical art and photography. Most of the articles are on gay and lesbian leather. Among the newsletter's contributors have been leather authors Gayle Rubin and Joseph W. Bean.

Issues 16 and later are online.
