CONTENTS INFORMATION

SLM consisted of three gay leather/fetish magazines bound together: Lenka (the club newsletter of SLM-Oslo), MasterPiece (MP), and FootZine. According to an article in the first issue, MasterPiece and FootZine had merged in 1994. After these three issues, Lenka was released on its own in 2003. The three magazines were published collectively under the name of SLM: Scandinavian Leather Men, or in Norwegian, SLM: Skandinavisk LærMagasin. Some pieces were in Norwegian, some in English.

Unless otherwise noted, items in the tables of contents are nonfiction. SLM primarily published nonfiction and photography, with a small amount of poetry, fiction, and true-life accounts. The nonfiction consisted of club news, articles on leather events in other locations, and lifestyle articles.

The masthead said, "Lenka is made on a Macintosh G4 with QuarkXpress & Photoshop."

The issues examined were PDF files of the magazine that were placed online at http://www.slm-oslo.no. The PDF file of Issue #2 appears to be incomplete.
